Once upon a time, in the ancient history of my 81 years, I was given a Dachshund that had been recovered from abuse. I named him “Normal,” adding the Mixedup Weiner later. He was more mixed-up than normal. According to the PC record, Normal was born at 4:30 AM on 8/28/2022. Over time, I began to think of what I could do with Normal. In this book, you will see a stuffed figure of Normal. I did that! I was a Navy photographer for 18 years, so it was easy to make the photographs. I use the term “Normal,” because everyone needs to be treated as normal. Or, as the dryer setting says: normal dry! As a Doctor of Education, I teach others. Every student is treated with the same level of normality. In these books, I hope to express the same ideal of normality and respect all us dogs need to be treated. I hope that other books will follow this one with the desire to build care and character in kids of all ages, culture, nature, or ethnicity. God bless you and yours as you read! Amen!
